An educational complex that includes a comprehensive high school, an elementary school, kindergartens, and a sports hall.

 

This complex creates a public and cultural center as a new urban fabric in the village. The long, narrow lot from north to south dictated the layout of the buildings. The design challenge was to create a unified, connected fabric in an open public space that would integrate all the complex's functions. The solution is to create a colonnade that stretches the entire length of the compound and serves as an open public space for the entire community. This colonnade is reminiscent of the Stoa, an educational and public space in ancient Greece.
