In the Arraba Mosque, which is called by the residents an "Islamic cultural center," we broke the concept of the mosque as an exclusive place of worship and the classic architectural image of the Muslim house of prayer with a dome, in the hope that it would lead to a less conservative religious interpretation. In recent years, the perception of the mosque as a place of prayer and a religious gathering space has changed in Arraba, as in many other Arab localities. The mosque and its immediate surroundings also serve as a gathering place for community and social activities. Its immediate surroundings also include businesses, commercial areas, and community services.

The center was designed as a building that combines several uses – a learning center, a prayer area, a cultural club, and kindergartens. The entrance floor serves as an open courtyard that connects the center to its surroundings and the neighborhood. The building was designed as a single volume that houses all functions and activities, organized across different floors, and is connected by an external passage of "stairs" that envelops the entire building from the courtyard (the entrance) to the top floor (the prayer hall). This spatial transition also serves as an intermediate space between the building and its surroundings, both climatically and environmentally. The shape and texture of the building also merge into a single formal expression within the folded, constructive roof. The folding white surface, which serves as both a roof and a wall for the stone structure, begins at ground level and extends to the edge of the minaret.
